Which Version is Best for You?
One of the things I'm most proud of about the Content Remix Planner is that it can integrate seamlessly with the tools and systems you ALREADY use.
It's not a separate software to log into.
It doesn't require a separate app to start using.
Regardless of where you currently do all your content creating and remixing, you can add in the Remix Planner as a new layer.
Here's some advice for making the best choice of template:
Best Choice: Notion Template
If you're at all familiar with Notion, if you use it AT ALL already, I recommend using the Notion version. It's by far the most advanced, useful version thanks to the unique features Notion offers.
Plus, since I use Notion and my own dashboard is where I test out new ideas and updates to the templates, the Notion version is usually the first one to receive new updates, if that's something you care about. 😉
Next Choice: Airtable
If you don't use Notion, the next best option is the Airtable version. If you're familiar with Airtable but not Notion, go with that.
Airtable is the second most advanced software out of the different options, also has relational databases, and has some cool features even Notion doesn't, like the ability to create a form for easily adding new content to your library.
3rd Pick: CSV Import
If you use a project management system like Asana, ClickUp, monday.com, or Trello, you can use the .csv version to set up a project or workspace in your project management system for remixing content. This should work for any project management system that:
- Lets you create custom fields for projects and tasks, and...
- Allows you to import .csv files to them.
Otherwise: Spreadsheet
If none of the above options work with your current workflows, don't try them yet.
Get a content remixing habit and system established for yourself before you even think about adding a whole new software system to it!
Instead, start with one of the spreadsheet versions and allow yourself to upgrade later IF you want to.
Open the spreadsheet template in Google Sheets, Apple Pages, Excel...whatever your spreadsheet software of choice is.
Remember, the point of the planner is to make it easier to remix with the tools you're ALREADY using!
